Camponotus pennsylvanicus

Close up of head

Tending to some sort of nymphs, probably hoppers

Helping a nymph out of its shell

Helping nymph out of shell

Checking out newly emerged nymph with antennae

Checking out newly emerged nymph with antennae, almost tenderly

Ant nanny checking on nymphs

Ant nanny tending to nymphs

Ant nanny looking for nymphs?

Out for a stroll on a Queen Anne's Lace plant

Checking on another cool looking hopper and what I assume to be its eggs

Big Queen head on

Big Queen from the side

This ant freaks out as a mite crosses its path, and then goes back to furiously tapping, what looks like bird droppings, with its abdomen.
