LARVAL STAGE

Kind of skipper like with the black head but body marking aren't like any I've researched yet.

Can't tell if it's an inchworm from this angle, should have taken another pic, sorry

Again, should have taken another pic of its head, but I was with non bug people and had to rush.

I call it Maximous fat yellow headius

Caterpillars feel weird on ones skin with all those little feet. Ok, I was a wee bit creeped out.

First time I saw them congregating was during a rainstorm. Smaller versions of the previous two, haven't eaten enough yet.

Ha, hungry hippo caterpillar

This one is the most human I've seen with its eyes and bald head.

For some reason, I find those wrinkles around its legs quite beautiful in their own weird way.

There were a few of these in a forest, just dangling from a single strand, didn't have time to see it make much progress up or down, too many other bugs.

Jabba the caterpillar, sheesh, not much room left in that thin skin.

Alien like, helmet head

This caterpillar needs some hair gel

I can't help but think this one was about ready to spin its cocoon, it was super fat, immobile and wrapping itself around this plant.

Or perhaps it had been invaded by a parasite and was bloated and unnaturally colored nearing death? Oh the drama...

Ok, I had fun with this species, whatever it is. Everytime I tapped it lightly with my finger it would strike this pose.

Seriously, how could I resist?

Looks like a relative of the tent but shinier and browner

A tussock perhaps. Or not.

Surely a Tussock with those four tufty tufts, but which one?

Lovely caterpillar lumps

ADULT STAGE

Great pattern on this moth

Check out the schnozz on this one, like a double horned rhino, and spikey thing above/by its eye as well

Here's mister elf shoe nose again from the top, unusual shape

A Crambid moth perhaps? Funny with its droopy ear like antennae

Same Crambid-like from the top, really furry double nose though

A brown thin moth

Top view of same in medium sized

Same moth in rabbit-like pose

Same moth last time, side view, gotta get all angles for ID purposes

This one was hanging like a fuzzy monkey, not sure if it was alive, but didn't want to disturb it.

Cute little tiny moth

Another cute tiny moth

That fuzzy double nose again, but much smaller with cool patterned wings

Same as previous but stronger patterning. Or better lighting, haaa

Check out the stubby antennae, haven't seen anything like them on any insect.

Fuzzy brown moth, need more distinguishing features I suppose.

Surely some kind of owlet moth, great pistachio green colored eyes

Same owlet-like moth from front. Boy, it kinda looks mad at me

One of those hard to ID moths again, rather small

Some delicate type of micromoth I think, atop my camping stove

Triangular but couldn't ID with those distinctive spots on each wing

Small cream colored moth

Shot in the Caribbean but perhaps it resides here too, as many insect are marvels at migration.

Really hooked nose again, translucent white and triangular no markings

Crambid, thought Sod Webworm but looking at its blue eyes, perhaps not

Again, Crambid similar to the Sod Webworm but slightly different coloring, lacks light stripes on back, and the eyes are pale.

A grey Owlet-looking fellow
