LEAFHOPPER NYMPHS

LOVE! How cool is this proud nymph??!!

Gorgeous nymph from top

This is about the size of a flea.

This one has more of a tan... ha or closer to adult coloring?

Pretty proud of its nymphal nudity I'd say

Another cool find, a nymph lacking wings still, but distinct silhouette

Posturing on a stem

You can see but more of its belly from here

Ending with its end.

Ha, nymphs crack me up

I mean look at this buggus interruptus with its funny tail...

Hanging with a Euptryx urticae leafhopper

SPITTLE BUG NYMPHS

Almost ready to emerge

I think this one looks like Meadow Spittlebug, will confirm with an expert

Looks like a comfy bubble bath, not sure I would want to leave

A younger nymph without any indication of wings just yet

These were quite different looking with their distinct black heads

This one worried me being exposed to the sun without any spit coviering but perhaps it was prepping for its next phase.

A fat brown sticky cinnamon roll.

Wow, a really young spittle bug still a grub

So weird this metamorphosis transformation thingy.

TREEHOPPER NYMPHS

Ok, what was Mother Nature drinking when she designed this one?!

Before ID I called it Blue-Brush-Butted_Bug.

I think you can make out some wing plates developing on the upper top of its back. Or not.

At this angle it looks like a flounder

Or a frog

Just plain awesome.

UNSURE HOPPER NYMPHS

Doggy Snout

Big black spot should make it easier to ID?

Same as previous from side
