CITRUS FLATID PLANTHOPPER: Metcalfa pruinosa

Interesting coloring, looks like a dry pebble.

Aw, look at its little snub nosed face.

DERBID PLANTHOPPER: Cedusa

Small delicate-looking hoppers in dusty grey coating and red eyes.

Rounded tails, blunt faces

This species pro-created tail to tail, haven't seen this before.

More bug love, great coloring underneath, related to mating time?

FLATID PLANTHOPPER: Anormenis chloris

This one has a pretty light green colorin Martha Stewart would envy. Or call Flatid Green?

ISSID PLANTHOPPER: Thionia simplex

Ok, what was Mother Nature drinking when she designed this one?!

Before ID I called it Blue-Brush-Butted_Bug.

I think you can make out some wing plates developing on the upper top of its back. Or not.

At this angle it looks like a flounder

Or a frog

Just plain awesome.
