 I think this was taken in Little Cayman, so not surprised I couldn't find it in local guides. But perhaps we share this species.

 Very strange, there were clumps like this all along a short stretch of road, feeding upon some sticky looking substance, but looked like some members were dead and being fed upon.

 Cool antennae on this one, thick at hte base but thin afterwards.

 Here is the same unknown bug in action, reaching the top of a leaf, rubbing its front legs in anticipation and eventually flying away.
