COMMON HOUSE SPIDER

Meet Charlotte who camped out in my bathroom for a while, living the good life whiel I fed her things I found around the place like this centipede from the tub.

Here she is dining upon a fly I brought home from a korean restaurant nearby wrapped in a napkin.

Looks like they are kissing from this angle, although I don't think I will make it this year's Valentine's Day card design.

A mosquitoe landed at me at a most inopportune moment, so into Charlotte's web it was cast

I think this is one from upstate, lacks Charlotte's lovely lines.

This is Mr Big, a larger spider living under my armoire. I was worried he wouldn't be able to handle such large prey but he came out the clear winner.

Here's Mr Big dragging the cockroach up to its lair in a hidden nook. First time I felt sorry for a cockroach.

Here Mr Big approaches his prey cautiously in case the cockraoch was playing 'possum.

Hanging out at my upstate cottage with a cool beetle-looking prey.

Close up of death grip
